Estreux Safaris was founded by Antonie and Wanda Esterhuizen. The name, “Estreux”, originated from a large village in the north of France, where our surname derived from. Estreux Safaris was originally established to cater for individual and very small groups of hunters in order to ensure that each and every client will receive only the very best personal attention and highest quality of service, by the owners personally.  Our hand-on experience in conservation in these areas and intimate knowledge of the country and its people however set us apart from the rest.

We are committed to and promotes Old Style Authentic African Safari experiences.  As a member of the Rowland Ward Guild of Field Sportsman, we base our hunts on the ethics and principles of fair chase. We believe in the whole hunting experience and do not promote quantity, but rather quality trophies. All our hunts are done in the typical walk and stalk manner.

Accommodation ranges from formal and luxurious hunting lodges to traditional tented camps, that can accommodate between four and six hunters at any time. This was done on purpose as to make sure we keep our groups small as to ensure our personal attention and best possible service to each and every client. Our dedicated professional staff compliment is also small as to make sure that our clients can relax without any external disturbances. All camps and lodges have en suite bathrooms, hot and cold water, showers and flush toilets.

Venison from the hunt is always served, accompanied by a variety of vegetables, salads and fruit. We offer a healthy breakfast and three course gourmets treat for dinner. Lunch packs is at the order of the day as hunters will normally spend the whole day in the bush. Top quality South African wines, brandy, whiskey, vodka, gin and world-class Namibian beer, as well as a variety of soft drinks are available in camp.
